Leaving Breadcrumbs

A promise

“I Leave Breadcrumbs” started as more than a username. It’s a belief.

If you know anything about me (Joshua), you’ll know I go by the username “ileavebreadcrumbs” on TikTok.  That user is the entire reason MrSeams exists.

Before someone even knows who they are, the world starts teaching them who it’s okay to be. For those of us in the LGBTQ+ community, that can mean years of quiet lessons — side comments, “jokes,” silence — all the breadcrumbs that shape how we see ourselves.

Growing up, we’re like invisible aliens among the people who love us most. Our parents, friends, and family talk freely — not realizing they’re speaking directly to us. They tell us what they think about “people like us” long before we even realize we’re part of that story. Without knowing it, they’re either teaching us that we’re safe and loved or that we should hide, shrink, and fear who we’ll one day become.

We learn what we are in the eyes of others before we ever discover who we truly are.
That realization — that heartbreak — is why I Leave Breadcrumbs exists.

This brand is my way of changing that pattern.
To leave better breadcrumbs.
Ones made of visibility, love, and pride.

Every piece we make is meant to say: you belong here.
Because when we leave good breadcrumbs, we make the path brighter for the ones still finding their way home.

What we wear can speak before we do.
The gear we create is made to be those breadcrumbs — small signs of safety, belonging, and pride left for someone who’s still searching.
So when they start to realize who they are, they’ll see the light in the dark places, the signals that say you’re not alone, and they’ll find their way to someone who will help them stand tall in their own skin.

With Love,

Joshua
